With roots in music, art, skateboarding and fashion, Jonny Day has developed a raw street style matched with classic simplicity of the silhouette. Co-founding the North Hollywood artist colony known as “The Compound” in ‘99, Jonny began designing and developing Afroman Skateboards with partner Sean Murphy, a skateboard company that became an underground icon. In 2002, Jonny co-created a fashion line, Elmer Ave, redefining street style into high end men’s clothing with rock and roll edge, and one that matched the designer's own ironic sensibilities.
