Dear fine art base friends,

We are sorry to announce that fine art base is no longer operating as a nonprofit arts organization as of 2011. Thank you for the opportunity to do challenging public projects and engage with artists in Monterey and outside the area. Over the last two years, we’ve initiated many public programs, workshops, artist residencies, and innumerable talks with friends and strangers.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the incredible individuals who participated in the dialogues. And thanks to the following groups for your generous support: Arts Council for Monterey County, Henry Miller Library, The Orosco Group, The City of Sand City, Monterey Regional Waste Management District, and Monterey County Weekly.

Although we are no longer operating as fine art base, we are now pursuing personal paths in art and design in the city of Los Angeles. We look forward to the opportunity to one day return to Monterey county and to do new projects in the area.
