In partnership with the Monterey Regional Waste Management District, The Orosco Group, and The Henry Miller Library, and with generous support from the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, fine art base presents the New Enterprise project. New Enterprise brings together local artists and artists from outside the area to explore opportunities to work in contexts that extend and challenge the artists’ creative development.

New Enterprise is set in Monterey County, California outside the traditional framework of a gallery. The project occurs in three phases, from Seaside to Sand City to Big Sur. New Enterprise includes artworks that explore the enterprising uses of sites and materials. Removed from their usual contexts, the sites and materials are reused in new ways.

New Enterprise includes work from artists Susan Chen, Kris Cowen, dlwilkinson, Alena Rudolph, Zachary Royer Scholz, and more

All New Enterprise events are free to the public.
